Acacia Re-Founds Western Ontario Chapter

On December 7, 2005, ten undergraduates gathered together for the purpose of being inducted as the Re-Founding Father Pledge Class at the University of Western Ontario. Led by Vince Inthisorn, Carleton 2003, this group has been working with the university and the International Headquarters over the past semester to achieve recognition as a Colony. They will begin their formal recruitment process in the spring and are looking forward to growing in the upcoming year.
In April of 1985, Acacia initiated the first Brother of the Western Ontario Chapter, Dr. Robert Sales. Over the next 11 years, 173 men joined him and helped make Acacia one of the top fraternities on campus. Through an emphasis on campus involvement, Acacia was able to recruit many motivated young men, and we trust that trend will carry over to this new Colony as well. Acacia is very excited to return to a campus where we have had success and feel that the university is happy about our return as well. If you are interested in helping out with the newly reformed Western Ontario Colony, or have any questions about expansion efforts in general, please contact Acacia Director of Expansion & Recruitment Robert Kameen via eMail by clicking here.
